Dave
Procter first picked up a bass guitar during his early teens by which point
he was already a promising young jazz saxophonist. He was initially schooled
on the bass by Steve Harris although after a chance encounter with George Clinton,
he turned his attention from the relentless driving bass of rock to the more
virtuoso style of the funk - a style which Dave weaves effortessly into the
blues.
Dave currently plays
a Music Man Stingray bass, a Trace Elliot amp and an Ashdown speaker.
